Declutter Your Home For Business Success

A clutter-free home is a happier, more peaceful place to live. And it can also help your business thrive!

Whether you’re looking to declutter your business or just want to keep your space more organized, there are several methods to get started. Whether you’re using the KonMari method or one of these other popular decluttering strategies, it’s important to ask yourself “Does this spark joy?” before getting rid of an item.

The KonMari Method

\

The KonMari Method is an easy-to-follow tidying technique developed by Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo. It is based on the concept of “sparking joy” through decluttering items that you truly love and cherish.

The first part of the KonMari Method is to sort through your belongings in order of category, including clothes, books, papers, komono (miscellaneous), and sentimental objects. This will help you to get rid of duplicates and to ensure that your items all belong together in one area.

Once you have sorted through all your items, it’s time to begin discarding the items that no longer spark joy. This is a highly subjective process, so it may be difficult to determine which items are truly worth keeping and which are simply clutter. However, this step is essential to the success of the entire KonMari Method.

When you’re removing items from the home, it’s important to keep in mind that this is a process that will require patience and commitment. You may feel frustrated at times as you work through your closets and drawers, but the key is to trust yourself and do the job with a clear mind.

As you declutter, it’s also helpful to make a mental note of any emotions that arise as you go through your belongings. This will help you to identify any items that may trigger memories or feelings and give you a better idea of which ones are truly valuable for your home and your life.

This is a very difficult process, but once you have completed it, you’ll see that the end result has been worth all of the hard work. You’ll be able to appreciate all of your belongings more and you’ll have a lot more space in your home to store items that spark joy for you.

The KonMari Method is a revolutionary way to declutter your home and your life. It will help you to find joy and inner peace while creating the ideal space for your business to thrive. It will also improve your relationships and give you the energy you need to take on new projects.

The Minimalist Game

Minimalism is a trend that’s all the rage, and for good reason: it makes the most sense to live with as little clutter as possible. Whether you’re decluttering your home for your own mental health or to make room for a growing business, there are many ways to get started.

One way is to join a minimalist challenge. These are short-term challenges that will help you build habits and stick to a new lifestyle. Creating new habits is hard work, but it’s important to do it in a way that you enjoy. Studies have shown that people retain information and skills better when they’re gamified.

You can find a variety of challenges on social media or on the minimalist website. They are often free and can be very easy to follow. They can also help you stay motivated and accountable to yourself.

Another approach is to create your own game. You can either have a set number of days that you have to complete or use the four box method (put away, give away, throw away, and undecided).

The first step is to decide what to do with each item. For example, you might put a coffee pot into the Put away box, a sweater into the Give away box, and a book into the Throw away box.

Once you’ve decided what to do with each item, it’s time to move on to the next piece of clutter. This can be a daunting task, but it’s an opportunity to get rid of things that aren’t serving you.

If you’re feeling like you might lose control, consider finding a friend or coach to partner with. This will help you keep focused and stay accountable, and can be a great way to make the process more fun!

In this case, you might even want to consider signing up for a challenge at the same time. This will help you stay focused and will provide a great way to document your journey and get support from others.

The Four Box Method

There are a number of decluttering techniques for home that can help you get organized and clear out cluttered spaces. One of the most popular is Marie Kondo’s KonMari method. This method is great for bringing a lot of order and happiness into the home.

To start with, it is important to have a plan of attack for decluttering your home. This should include a list of areas that need decluttering, what you will be doing to declutter them, and how long it will take. Once you have a plan of attack it will make the decluttering process much easier.

A simple way to declutter your home quickly and easily is by using the Four Box Method. This simple method involves dividing items into four boxes: Trash, Donate/Give, Keep, and Relocate.

Once you have these boxes, you will want to go through each room or zone and remove items that you no longer need or use. Once you have removed these items, you will need to place them in the correct box.

For example, if you have a dresser that is full of clothes that aren’t used and aren’t worth keeping, you should put them in the Trash box. This way, you will know that you can donate them or throw them away when the time comes.

In the same way, if you have a desk that is full of papers and aren’t sure what to do with them, you should place them in the Donate/Give box. This way, you can take them to a local donation center and see if they can find a good home for them.

Another decluttering method that is very popular and easy to implement is the “One Box” method. This is a simple decluttering technique that requires you to drop an item in a box each day before leaving the house for work or school. Once you have collected enough items in the box, you can dispose of them at the end of the week or month.

This method is ideal for people who are busy or don’t have a lot of time to spend decluttering their homes. It is also a great decluttering technique for family members to do together.

The Packing Party

Whether you’re moving to a new home or just need a little more organization in your current space, packing parties are a great way to get the job done quickly and without feeling too overwhelmed. Basically, you invite friends over, order pizza and start decluttering like you’re about to move.

It may sound a bit extreme, but it works! The goal is to pack everything you own into boxes as if you were moving and then remove only those items that you use. In a matter of weeks or months, you can take out what you need and donate what you don’t.

A good way to make the packing party even more fun is to have a friend over to help you. This will save you time, energy, and stress, making the entire process much more enjoyable!

Before the Packing Party, you should prepare a to-do list of tasks that need to be completed. You can print out a copy of the list and keep it in your fridge or somewhere prominent. Each task should be assigned to a specific person and should be crossed off when it’s complete.

After you have prepared the list, ask a friend to come over and assist you. This will ensure that everything gets packed as well as make the decluttering process much more pleasant.

As you work, you should have some snacks on hand to keep everyone going and to avoid them from getting hungry. You can also include some games that will help people stay focused on their work and not lose sight of what needs to be done.

If you are planning to move, it’s a good idea to start this decluttering process a few months in advance. It will give you plenty of time to get rid of unwanted items and save money by not paying for the moving company’s services.

The Minimalists, Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus, have created a decluttering method called the “Packing Party.” This is ideal for people who don’t have a lot of time to devote to decluttering or who are just moving from one place to another. After you pack all of your belongings into boxes, unpack them only if you truly need to use them and then donate or sell what you don’t need after three weeks.

I’m currently decluttering using the KonMari Method.  Please join me.

Tarot Can Help You Plan For The Future

What can a Tarot Consultation do for you? A lot! We are going through uncertain times now and in the year to come. It can be scary. As a Tarot Consultant, I intend to help my clients find options, relieve insecurities, and plan for the future.

I read my clients using Tarot and Oracle cards and with the help of my Spirit Guides. The first Spirit Guide that came to me was an American Indian with a buffalo head on his head. Very serious and always gave me messages within a circle of other Indians and smoking a pipe. I don’t see this Spirit Guide that much anymore. Instead, I use a Chinese scholar that has been with me since 1979. I relate to him as the Major Arcana Hermit Card. He, at times, impresses a lantern to guide me to his message, and of course, he carries a staff. There is also a Gypsy who flits in and out of consultations, but my leading Spirit Guide is an African man. Mujo shows up before, during, and after consultations.

With this team, experience, and, most of all, my cards, we can give an accurate reading. This combination is so important because we are advising about your life. You can ask my Spirit Guides and me anything. Can I see your deceased Mother? Sometimes. I use my mediumship skills sparingly when using the cards, but it is possible.

Think of getting a tarot reading, consulting a psychic, getting a progressive astrology chart, or improving your empathic skills. Get a handle on your Spiritual Life. It can give you peace of mind for future difficulties.

I will be booking Tarot Consultations starting November 1. I apologize for not being available these past few months. Unfortunately, I had a medical condition to attend to.

How To Avoid Negative Energy

When attracting positive energy, you need to know what to avoid.  Unfortunately, a person with negative energy will usually surround themselves with just as damaging people.  Such people live in a fantasy world where they can blame others for everything, so they lack the courage to look within themselves.  This kind of energy attracts people who will always be negative.  It’s a bad thing because the opposite side of a negative person will always be positive.

If you feel that someone negatively affects your life, there are ways to counteract it.  Negative people find fault with everything, including themselves.  They do this to demonstrate their negativity and attract other people who will share that attitude.  If they see a flaw in you, they will naturally express it in actions, which is negative energy.  It’s the same for empaths.  These people feel everyone else’s pain, and they think that their happiness will bring bad things.

To avoid negative energy, you need to know the source of it.  It can come from the inside or the outside, and it can cause pain, stress, anxiety, depression, lack of creativity, fears, and restlessness.  This type of energy will not only put you in the wrong place, but it will also attract more negativity to you.  To identify the source of negative energy, try to observe yourself in silence.  Notice what you’re saying to yourself and what you’re saying.  If you have an inner chatter, you’re likely talking to yourself.  This can lead to a downward spiral, as you’ll feel more resentful of yourself than you already are.

I will be addressing other ways to combat negative energy and raise your vibrations in future articles.  You must lead your best life.

Tarot "Yes" or "No" Questions

A yes or no question is the most basic kind of question in English.  It can be composed of more than one auxiliary verb.  The yes or no questions may also include a modal verb and one or more auxiliary verbs.  There are also passive questions that contain more than one auxiliary.  For the purposes of this lesson, we will focus on simple yes or no questions.  After practicing these questions, you will gain more confidence in forming them.

Tarot cards are also helpful when asked for advice on a specific situation.  The High Priestess, Hierophant, and Hermit can all help you determine whether you should ask for advice or to avoid the situation altogether.  The Seven of Pentacles, on the other hand, can give you a yes or no answer, and a no will show you what to expect from that event.  Then, you should reverse the no cards and ask for clarity.

Another way to learn about tarot is to use the Yes or No wheel.  You can use it to find out if an answer is correct or not.  During your readings, you can look up the meaning of each card to get additional feedback.  This will give you an extra bit of advice when you need it most.  For example, if you are trying to decide if a relationship is right for you, a yes or no response would help you move forward.  But if you are looking for a simple yes or no, the following will be of help:  Three of Cups – Yes;  Three of Swords -No.  Additional information is not needed.

Happy Reading!

Gratitude Using Tarot

When you use the tarot to seek answers in your life, one of the most common questions is, “What should I be grateful for?” It is essential to realize that this card means to be thankful and be aware of what you already have in life.  When you look at the tarot, you will discover that the most important thing is being content and feeling grateful for what you have.

Gratitude is a powerful way to achieve a purpose and find balance.  It will help you to unwind negative emotions.  It can also broaden your thinking and create positive energy cycles.  When you are looking for a purpose in life, you should avoid spending time with those negatively influencing your life.  Instead, give yourself space and think about the positive things in your life.  Whether you are grateful for your past troubles or not, you will find that you are more content when you are thankful for the things you have.

Begin using your favorite tarot deck, the one that speaks to you.   Then search for a card that represents your feeling or mood currently.  Place this card on the table and let go of any attachments you may have.  Next, shuffle the deck and choose another card randomly.  This is your transition card.  This time look at the card and pick out all the positive aspects.  Even if you choose The Tower, the card can mean enlightenment, or The Devil can mean real estate ventures.  You may have to go back to the little white book for this, but it is worth it.  Now see how the cards are connected and write down or journal the gratitude expressed in the cards.  You can then meditate on the transition card or make an affirmation for these two cards.

Let me explain a little more about the transition card.  This is an evidential card that means nothing stays the same.  Even if you started with a positive initial card, the transition card shows different aspects that you may encounter to enhance your gratitude.  You can use this spread daily and track your results.

By practicing gratitude, you will be more grateful for the things that make you happy.  Practicing it will help you be more contented and less fearful.  And by practicing it, you will open your mind to new possibilities and solutions.  Remember that happiness and success are not wishful thinking.  When you practice being grateful, you’ll feel more content and successful.  And as you practice your gratitude, you will begin to notice more beauty and abundance in your life.  Life-changing isn’t it?

Many blessings,

Sharon

Why Book A New Year Tarot Consultation?

There are many reasons to schedule a New Year Tarot Consultation.  A tarot consultation provides a personalized road map of the year ahead, highlighting important times to start new projects or take a leap of faith.  This reading is not mediumship information but rather intuitive information that a tarot reader may interpret.  You’ll learn when to focus on rest and reflection.

The twelve-card New Year Tarot spread acknowledges the energies passing through your life and those entering it.  It gives you a focal point for the year ahead. Cards 1 & 2 are concerned with the energy that is moving out of your life and the energies moving forward.  You should pay special attention to negative cards, as they may give you a valuable lesson.  However, if you are an excellent tarot client, you’ll have no trouble finding a tarot consultant.

A tarot reader will read your tarot cards for you by tapping into her intuition. As a result, you’ll feel more connected, and you’ll get more out of your tarot reading.  There are no specific ways to pull cards, but following some general tarot best practices will help you make the most of your New Year Tarot Consultation.

The first card of the spread looks at the past year.  If you want to learn more about the following year, ask your past or present life questions.  The first card speaks to the past and the future.  The past teaches us lessons and shapes us into the person we are today.  Once you know what your past has to say about your future, you’ll be able to make better decisions and move forward in a positive direction.

A New Year Tarot Consultation can be used for a variety of purposes.  It can help you gain clarity on your future goals and assess the lessons you’ve learned from the past.  It can also help you make important decisions regarding your current circumstances.  This consultation is a powerful way to discover what you need to change in your life.  The Tarot can provide you with insight into your dreams and plans.

The Bridge to the New Year is a great way to start the New Year Tarot Consultation.  The two cards of the New Year are a bridge, which is similar to the Outcome card in a Celtic Cross.  During a Bridge Reading, the Twelve cards reflect the aspiration and the future.  A person’s aspirations are compared to the outcome.

Happy New Year!

Problem Solving Using Tarot Consultations

Tarot cards can be confusing, but the truth is that they can be an excellent tool for problem-solving.  The spreads used in tarot consultations are intended to help the user see the situation clearly and identify possible solutions.  The goal is to provide clarity and advice in multiple areas of life.  However, many people are not sure if they need a tarot consultation, and this article explains why a consultation is a powerful tool for problem-solving.

One of the best ways to choose a tarot consultation is to interview tarot readers for a possible consultation.  The anticipated consultation can be a great help in helping to determine what the actual problem or opportunity is.  It can help you to understand obstacles and identify how to overcome them.  Choose which tarot card reading expert is right for your particular issue.  At Sharon Downie, Tarot Consultant LLC consultations are geared toward helping people get answers to their questions quickly.

During the consultation, I will ask the questioner about their situation.  The following is one of the tarot spreads I may use.  The Core card will represent the new circumstances that the person is facing.  The forces that brought these unique circumstances are either positive or negative.  Depending on the questioner’s needs, the Outcome card can show how those circumstances have played out. Finally, the Outcome card shows the questioner’s results to solve the problem.

There are many tools and tarot spreads that can have an informative and helpful consultation.  Don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like to talk about your situation or checkout possible future outcomes.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Avoiding Holiday Burnout

If you are in the midst of a holiday season, you may be suffering from Holiday Burnout. But there’s no need to fret. These tips are meant to help you cope and get through the hectic season.  These tips are designed to prevent you from feeling overwhelmed and burnt out.  The key to avoiding this is to prioritize your needs.  It’s not about preventing holiday parties; it’s about choosing the right ones and making time for yourself.

The holiday season can be stressful. Many people take on more obligations than they can manage. This may be a result of the pressure or expectations of other people.  The holiday season is full of traditions and overloaded social schedules.  Additionally, increased stress levels can cause conflict among family members and co-workers.  Therefore, it’s essential to schedule time for yourself and your family.  If you’re in a holiday-related holiday burnout, don’t be afraid to seek help.

The holiday season is notorious for making it challenging to schedule vacations.  You may have to miss deadlines or juggle multiple meetings.  Plus, your to-do list is bound to grow larger as you wait for other people to return.  To avoid this problem, start implementing strategies that help you delegate more.  As a leader, delegation is one of the most important skills you can develop.  Don’t try to do everything yourself.  Micromanaging is ineffective and can lead to burnout.

Furthermore, meditating on The Hermit card is the perfect choice card.  The Hermit will help guide you to make and implement the right decisions.  In addition, the solitude of the card is inspiring.

Take good care of yourself.

Holiday Shopping Self-Care

During the holidays, many people neglect self-care.  When my son was small, my husband stood outside Grants (no longer in existence) during a snowstorm for a much-wanted toy.  I didn’t give to the adults except for my mother and grandmother but shopped for the other family and friends’ kids.  Toy stores and departments are crazy.  Bruce and I waited until midnight on Christmas eve to buy extra toys at a discount.  It was all worth it.  Even though I was at the beginning of my spiritual journey, I did not have enough in my toolbox to make it less stressful.  I now use my spiritual tools and online shopping.

During this busy season, it’s easy to get caught up in the spirit and forget to take care of ourselves.  Here are some ways to take care of yourself during the holidays.  You might even be surprised to find how much time you can save for self-care!  Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your holiday season:

Practice mindfulness.  Spend time taking note of sights and sounds as you go about your holiday shopping.  Notice the differences between the different seasons.  This practice can help you relax and stay focused.  Also, make sure that you get adequate sleep, eat a balanced diet, and drink enough water.  Finally, don’t overindulge in special holiday foods – find a balance between the good and bad.  Try journaling if you aren’t sure how to balance your special treats.

Schedule a time for self-care.  You may be overwhelmed by all the holiday activities, but remember to take some time to enjoy yourself, as well.  Avoid rushing to buy gifts, and make sure you set time aside for yourself for exercise, meditation, and prayer.  In addition to avoiding holiday stress, make sure to schedule a time to read a book, enjoy festive experiences, and make time for your personal needs.  There’s nothing wrong with pampering yourself and finding ways to relax.

Happy Shopping!

Dealing With Loneliness at Christmas

Loneliness at Christmas can be challenging for many people and increase during the holiday season.  I have been there.  Divorced and my family blaming me created one of the loneliness Christmas’s I ever had.  I remember laying on the sofa with an afghan, just watching TV.  But, of course, I did consume an excessive amount of chocolate.  As a result, I felt sick, depleted, and friendless.  But there are ways to combat the loneliness and find fun ways to pass the time.  If you’re feeling lonely this Christmas, focus on gratitude and find activities to help you feel better.  Here are some great ideas to combat loneliness at Christmas. Listed below are some tips to help you cope with the holiday.

First, think about why you’re feeling lonely this Christmas.  Are you longing for company or space?  It may be something as simple as longing for the comfort of your own home.  Whatever the reason, it is essential to consider dealing with loneliness during the holidays.  If you’re experiencing loneliness during the holidays, consider what will help you feel better and who you want to connect with.  You can also create a plan of action for your holiday to help you get through this holiday.

If you’re spending the holidays alone, don’t be afraid to spend the day alone.  Despite the social pressures, you can enjoy the holiday. You can indulge in your backlog of books and films or even treat yourself to a takeaway.  If you’re feeling particularly lonely at Christmas, talk to someone you trust.  It can improve your mood and make you feel more comfortable about yourself.  You can find support for your loneliness by visiting online forums and seeking advice.

If you are Tarot savvy, this will be a good time to do a past/present/future spread.  Only do it once, and don’t be disappointed if the cards do not turn out the way you expected.  Challenges are how we grow, and you have an idea of what the future MAY bring.  If you don’t dare to do this timeless three-card spread, pull one card for the future (once only).  Journaling after will help you get in touch with your emotions and higher self.

Here are some links that will help you for further ideas:

I wish you the merriest of holidays.  May the Star of Bethlehem shine down upon you and lead you to the most abundant life ever.

Divination Using a Tarot Deck - Is Tarot Spiritual?

The use of a tarot card deck, whether you’re playing a standard deck of fifty or you’re using one of the many tarot card decks available, can open up a whole new world to you.  Tarot can be a powerful tool for self-deception and manipulation.  And it can also be an excellent tool for discovering possibilities in your own life.  A card deck is a powerful medium, a great way to tap the hidden potentials within yourself. If you want to discover options in your own life, you can do so by using the appropriate tool for the job.

When you learn to read tarot cards, you quickly realize that each card can reveal different things about the future.  Each card affects the present, upon previous events, upon your relationships, and even upon your very future.  Each card is a representative, and it reveals something about its possessor.  That’s why divination using tarot cards is a great gateway into the unknown.  You don’t have to go anywhere, you don’t have to consult anyone, and you don’t have to do anything but simply stare at the blank board and envision.

When you read tarot cards, you quickly see that each card has a life of its own.  Each card can be life itself, as well as a reflection of the past, present, and future of someone else, of the physical world, or even of the metaphysical world.  When the reader reads the cards, they can use the appropriate tool for the task at hand.  Whether the job requires divination using a standard tarot deck or a unique tarot deck specially made for this purpose, the reader needs to tap into the potential for discovery inherent in every card.

Confused

Intuitiveness vs. Gut Feelings

“I believe instinct’s the iron skeleton under all our ideas of free will.  Unless you’re willing to take the pipe or eat the gun or take a long walk off a short dock, you can’t say no to some things. You can’t refuse to pick up your option because there is no option.”

                                                                          —— Stephen King, It

What are gut feelings for you?  Is it that impulse to take action even though you can’t rationalize it?  Is it a chill down your spine?  Hair standing straight up on your arms?  Does it come when you feel fear?  I believe this is intuitiveness taking a physical form.

Here is a quote about intuition:

“What a lover’s heart knows let no man dispute.”

——Aberjhani, Visions of a Skylark Dressed in Black

All of this is intuition.  It is our sixth sense.  There isn’t always a need to use rational processes when other senses tell what action to take.  I, personally, had used my instincts when I was dating.  I did not hesitate to turn down an aggressive date, and I left a date at the bar while I escaped.  I knew very early that I would not place myself in unnecessary danger.

As a mother using your intuitive ability is done many times without one being aware.  Knowing another child could lead yours astray. You know that your child should not take that trip.

As I have developed my psychic abilities, I am aware now of when this process is in action.  You, too, can become more aware and intuitive by doing some exercises to increase your ability.  Meditate.  This is a big one.  If you can’t meditate for twenty minutes, five will do. Use guided meditations until you can quiet the mind.  Mindfulness is great.  I use Orin-DaBen mediations almost every day.   You can find these meditations on the internet; they are subject-specific.  Get creative.  Creativity enhances all your five senses.  Write, paint, sew, music, and other such activities are action-packed to facilitate your senses.  Aromatherapy is also one I use.  I love the fragrance of lavender and sandalwood.  Write down your dreams.  Analyze them.

Not to get too woo woo, get in touch with your Spirit Guides and Angels.  Their voices can always be relied upon.  I do not do any consultations without praying and communicating with my guides.  Sonia Choquette has a wonderful book called Ask Your Guides.  I also use her oracle cards with the same name.  Whatever will help, praying and meditation, use the help that is available to all of us.

I hope this helps you to use your intuitiveness and “gut feelings” fearlessly.  This is not to be confused with being empathetic.  I will address this at a later date.

I wish you well on your journey.

Using Tarot During the Pandemic

During these unsettling times, we can feel hopeless about COVID-19 and its variants.

“People are still getting sick around me.”  “How can I protect myself.”  Again, Tarot can give you support.

Tarot is a potent tool to be used wisely.  Everyone should own a Tarot or Oracle deck even if they don’t know how to read them at first.  Just handling and shuffling the cards raises your energies and vibrations.  Meditating and journaling on the following cards can help with a positive attitude and control the surrounding energies.

Here are some Tarot cards that can be of help:

  • The Magician:   The Magician is a card for the strong and the spiritual.  It is mastery over the mental, spiritual and physical.  Focusing on this card will bring in all the elements to help repulse sickness.  You can also use The Magic card and its features during illness for a speedy and complete recovery.

  • The Chariot:  The Chariot is about conquest and triumph over obstacles.  It brings tremendous forward energy.  The Chariot can be used for a quick restoration of health.

  • Strength:  The Strength card is about domination over fear.  Use this card to strengthen your determination to do all you can to stay healthy.

  • Wheel of Fortune:  A great card for movement.  We need to push that Wheel forward to obliviate COVID.  Meditating on this card can create a turning point in health.  Always visualize The Wheel moving forward.

  • Temperance:  Temperance is the “Healing” card of the Tarot.  It will right what is wrong and balance spiritual and health situations.

  • The Star:  What can I say.  This card represents “hope.”  The Star implores us to use our inner resources and call on the Divine for healing and fortitude.

  • The Sun:  The Sun card is the card of success.  It is always the messenger of good news.  See yourself conquering COVID.

I have used a lot of words such as focus, concentrate, visualize and meditate.  These are some of the processes I use for health situations.  Also, I have used spells.  Besides having a Tarot deck on hand, I recommend a good spellbook.  Using a spell, you are taking concrete action on the unknown.  It will help facilitate manifesting your goals.

Stay healthy.
