Benebell Wen is generous with her knowlege. If you are striving for a well-rounded mystical experience for your clients or for yourself, check her out. Gary Lachman--I can't measure the hours I have spent reading his books. It isn't enough to know tarot meanings, you need some background occult information. Read something enjoyable by my favorite author Gary Lachman.

Gary Lachman
Gary Lachman is one of today’s most insightful writers on the history of esoteric and occult thought. A former musician turned cultural historian, he has authored numerous engaging biographies of visionary figures such as Madame Blavatsky, Rudolf Steiner, Carl Jung, and Aleister Crowley. Having read nearly all his books, I highly recommend him for anyone interested in the hidden currents of Western spirituality and the lives of those who shaped it.
